6) Ian Fleming's James Bond Novels
Loved the new flick.  LOVED it.  Sorry chaps, but neither Pierce Brosnan, nor Timothy Dalton nor Roger Moore's performances as Bond ever made me want to hunt down the source material and read it for myself.  Amazingly, these novels were out of print for several years (strangely coinciding with the previously mentioned gentlemen's tenures as Bond...) and now have been lovingly ressurected by Penguin with all new splashy, and sexy retro cover paintings that adequately capture the two-fisted machismo of 007 as he was written.  The list I've hijacked here lays them out in chronological order.

7) Bob's Big Boy Statue (or the slightly more affordable Coin Bank)
How many times have you joked with your friends about stealing one of these?  Now you can own one legit for a mere 5Gs.  It's 7 feet tall, about 3.5 feet wide and weighs aprroximately 100 lbs.  And it would look great in my backyard. The coin bank will only run you $7, and it's pretty much the same thing, only smaller

8) Dockworker's Cap
I've only been looking for one of these for, like, ever.  Courtesy of the Duluth Trading Company, which is basically a blue-collar cross between The Gap and J. Peterman's.

1) Classic Video Game Scarves from bits2die4
Worried about your loved ones catching cold waiting in line for the PS3 or Wii this season? Keep them warm with these hot 2600-style scarves and score them a few nerd points with their fellow gamers in the process.

2) Songs for Christmas by Sufjan Stevens (and friends)
Unstoppable indie music darling Sufjan Stevens recently dropped a 5 disc set of holiday music he's been giving out as gifts for the past 5 years. In this adorable box set you'll get a mix of classic tunes revisited as well as a few originals. If you're anything like me you're just about sick to death of the same old songs, but you don't necessarily want to diverge from tradition with anything too unfamiliar (it is Christmas, after all). Sufjan's take breathes new life into tired carols.

3) Kettle Chips Passport to Flavor Party Pack
Kettle makes the best damned chips on the grocery store shelves, hands down. Unexpected flavors atop a satisfying crunch make them an unbeatable combination. With this pack Kettle is giving chip lovers a chance to shape the future of chip development by allowing you to vote for the best flavor online. Along with six never-before-tasted varieties they throw in a music CD representative of the flavors therein as well as a drink suggestions and food pairings. Yum!

1) The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess
What can I say about this already classic line of video games that hasn't already been said. The next instalment in the series is once again upping the ante on what we think of as engrossing game play and great story. Add to the fact that Nintendo made sure to release it for both the Gamecube and the Wii and you know this is gonna be a BIG hit this year, YOWSA!

2) Lockout Specialist Locksmith Course
So besides the extreme fascination with the idea of being able to break into any car or building I like, I have always been a big puzzle fan. Rubik's many puzzles have always held a sweet spot in my hart but now my attention has been turned to a more practical puzzle, the lock. This kit gives you all the knowledge and tools necessary to begin your wonderful adventure into the world of lock picking as well as enough knowledge to just go ahead and make it your carer. Hell yeah on the fun and hell yeah on the "no boss" angle!

3) Feena FMDJ digital DJ interface
So I've been lugging hundreds of pounds of records to gig's for over 12 years now and although nothing will replace vinyl in my heart of audiophile hearts, I have to say the idea of digital DJ'ing gets more and more appealing every day. Enter the Feema FMDJ interface. With tons of knobs and sliders all laid out in a logical DJ friendly way the Feema has my record boxes scared. It's USB powered, works with Traktor and Live, and the construction is sturdy enough to handel all the stuff a working DJ can throw at it. This thing, a laptop, and a set of headphones and BAM! your DJ'ing.

4) Trek T-1 track bike
Fast, sleek, light, and simple. The way a good machine should be.

5) Nixon Rootlog watch
While living in NYC I got on this watch fetish kick. I had never needed to wear a watch before because the slow easy living pace of WV made it very rare that I had to be anywhere at a very specific time. However in NYC you use public transit OFTEN and having a watch was pretty much a necessity so you didn't freak out worried whether or not you would be wherever the fuck you were trying to get to. Nixon was always one of those lines that straddled the line of tech and elegance so well that all their pieces look like a future watch from a 1960's sc-fi movie. The Rootlog in particular seems as though it came from the prop room of 2001 with it's chrome and wood accents. This is definitely pat with a P-H.

6) CLH Hoodie
Wow.
